1) My first step in photography was to get myself a partner, then I got my camera, a chair, and a tripod. Once I grabbed what I needed me and my partner headed outside, we found a place where there was a clear background. After that, I placed my camera on the tripod and placed the chair where I would like my partner to be placed after I fix my camera and focused my lens. I took a picture of my partner on the chair and one of the backgrounds, for the fence picture I took a picture of the background and one of my partner. I took a total of six pictures including the backgrounds. Once I finished with the pictures I headed back to class and downloaded my pictures onto my drive. I proceeded to upload my first picture to Adobe Photoshop by going to the "file" and clicking on "scrips" and then on "load files into stack". I uploaded the background and where my partner is modeling. Then I applied a layer of the mask (the icon looks like a Japanese flag). The icon is located at the bottom right of the screen I'd made sure that before I liked the icon I was on the correct layer. I used the brush tool where I used the color black to conceal the chair and the shadow and white to reveal. Finally, I took a screenshot of my layers by holding down Command, shift, and 4 at the same time. Then I went to "File", clicked on "Save a copy", clicked on "On your computer", clicked on "Save on your computer", clicked on "Format", clicked on "JPEG", clicked on "save", and clicked on "Ok". And I proceeded to do this process for every picture I photoshopped.

2) A layer mask is a tool that can help you hide parts from an image without erasing them an advantage is that you can change it at any given moment so they are not permanent. Unlike the erase tool it can sometimes be permanent if you don't undo it at the moment. It can be used in many different ways. So many options can be used in many different projects depending on them. You won't always need to use the layer mask tool it all depends on the work you are doing.

3) I believe that my project is in between. I don't think it was the best but I also don't think it was the worst. The reason for this is that I still need practice in being more creative in taking pictures from certain angles. Overall I think my project was in between.

4) The way I see it I think my project meets the stander. The reason for this is that I think I could've done better and organized them in a better format, as you can see for me the way I arranged my pictures  I could've been a bit more creative in the organization. Another reason why I think my project meets the standers is that I did a decent job of photographing and photoshopping my pictures. They are not boring pictures but they are pretty decent. Overall I think I did a decent.
