Part: 1

Part: 2

1) The first thing I did when I started my avatar was look for reference pictures. I began downloading and exporting the reference pictures to my artboards in Adobe Illustrator, creating the head, torso, legs, arms, hair, facial features, and clothes. I used the pen tool and curvature tool to create the hair, eyes, clothes, and headphones, I used the brush tool to create the different shadows on my avatar. Multiple of my pieces either have only stroke or fill or both. Then I used the selection tool to group my pieces, I started to add multiple artboards and began to move singular pieces from my avatar. After that, I began to export it into a PNG and transferred it to Adobe Photoshop. After I started to animate my avatar I downloaded my animation into a GIF and then transferred it to my Wix page where I showed my work and showed my progress during the whole time working on it.

2) The most challenging part of creating my avatar is trying to find what type of art style you like and feel that describes you or represents you in a way you feel that it's you. I had to restart 3 times because I felt like the type of art style wasn't me or didn't represent me in a way.

3) Unfortunately, my legs and arms don't move because of the way I created my avatar. My avatar does not move like I would've liked to but I think my animation is ok.

4) There are improvements I would make, like creating a plan sketching, and or picking and having my reference pictures ready. Another thing would be to have lost of patience and have an open mind.
